It\u2019s the type of dish you can happily enjoy for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and the ingredient combinations are endless.<\/p>\n<h2>Can you make an avocado frittata without Feta cheese?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you don&#8217;t have Feta or don&#8217;t want to use it, this recipe would be fabulous with Queso Fresca or Cotija, or one of the other crumbly Mexican cheeses. But if you don&#8217;t have any special cheese like that, just use grated Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese.<\/p>\n<h2>What else could you use in a Feta Cheese Frittata?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you&#8217;d like to make a frittata with Feta cheese but don&#8217;t have avocado (or aren&#8217;t a fan), I&#8217;d love this recipe with Feta and bacon! Or if you use the <strong>JUMP TO RECIPE<\/strong> link at the top of the page, it will take you directly to the complete recipe.)<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Slice 6 green onions, keeping the dark and lighter parts separate.<\/li>\n<li>Crumble Feta and dice up avocado.<\/li>\n<li>Beat eggs with half and half and&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2PyFkCq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spike Seasoning<\/a> (affiliate link).<\/li>\n<li>Cook the white ends of the green onions in olive oil over medium heat, using a 10 or 12 inch frying pan with a lid. (Forgot to take a photo of that!)<\/li>\n<li>Pour eggs over the green onion and immediately turn heat to low.<\/li>\n<li>Start to preheat the broiler.<\/li>\n<li>When eggs have started to look set around the edges (about 2-3 minutes) spoon avocado pieces over the eggs.<\/li>\n<li>Cook 1-2 minutes, then crumble the feta over the avocado and cook 2-3 minutes more.<\/li>\n<li>Cover pan and cook until frittata is starting to brown on the bottom and barely set on top, about 8 minutes covered.<\/li>\n<li>Put the frittata under the broiler and broil until eggs are completely set and&nbsp; top is starting to brown.
