So glad you enjoyed the recipe! And that sounds like a good choice for seasoning the pork.

My site has recipes for many different cooking methods. But I don’t have time to test every Air Fryer recipe in a regular oven or test every recipe with every possible cooking method. People are just going to have tho choose recipes that use the cooking equipment they have.

Not all Cuisinart Air Fryers are the same. My niece Kara has the same model I have but hers cooks much hotter.

Also our pork chops were extra thick.

Those kinds of variables are why I said to cook the pork chops “until the Instant Read Meat Thermometer (affiliate link) shows 145F/65C.”

Temp probe showed 145 after only six minutes!  
400 degrees. 

I always use the Air Fryer function with the rack in the slot that’s in the middle position, not sure what number that is!

Oh I just love hearing that your crisper tray worked for this. Sounds like you just need to take them out at a slightly lower temperature next time and you have a winner!

I wish I could post a picture to show how these came out, but I did try it in the oven with a crisper tray. I did 425 degrees and used the meat thermometer. They were gorgeous (my mom was jealous). They did dry out a tiny bit, but I honestly think that’s because of my thermometer. It thinks ice water is 74 degrees and there’s no way to calibrate it, so I set the desired temp higher. I’m pretty confident that with a not insane thermometer they would have been perfect.
